Canada Day is fast approaching. This will be the 25th Annual event and promises to be a great celebration. The year, Canada Day falls on a Wednesday, providing the perfect break during the work week. The children's activities will begin about 1:00 PM in the middle of Mill Woods Park (23 Ave & 66 St) and run till about 6:00 PM. The stage entertainment will run from about 3:00 PM until the fireworks at 11:00 PM. This year's headliner is Souljah Fyah!
This is a free, family oriented event and generally packs in early. There is no public parking in Mill Woods Park but handicapped people can be dropped off at the various parking lots. There is limited parking available at Mill Woods Town Centre or you can take public transit.
There are very limited handicap parking in the South parking lot (off of 23 Ave) on a first come, first served basis. This is the parking lot closest to the Children's Activities.
