Welcome to the 26th Annual Mill Woods Canada Day Celebration

Canada Day is fast approaching. This will be the 26th Annual event and promises to be a great celebration. The year, Canada Day falls on a FRIDAY, making for a nice long weekend. The children's activities will begin about 1:00 PM in the middle of Mill Woods Park (23 Ave & 66 St) and run till about 6:00 PM. The stage entertainment will run from about 3:00 PM until the fireworks at 11:00 PM. This year's headliner is Aaron Goodvin!

This is a free, family oriented event and generally packs in early. There is no public parking in Mill Woods Park but handicapped people can be dropped off at the various parking lots. There is limited parking available at Mill Woods Town Centre or you can take public transit.

There are very limited handicap parking in the North parking lot (off of 28 Ave) on a first come, first served basis. This is the parking lot closest to the Children's Activities.

Children's Activities (1:00 PM till 5:45 PM)

  •     Face Painting


Main Stage (3:00 PM till 11:00 PM)

  •     Various Multicultural Dance Groups
  •     Opening Ceremonies (6:00 PM)

Fireworks at 11:00 PM
